Crazy About Basketball – Youth Basketball League (Ages/Grades: Grades 1-4)
Crazy about Basketball?? So are we! Basketball was created by James Naismith at a YMCA way back in 1891 and has been a huge part of our sport program here at the Eau Claire YMCA. That’s why we want you to join us for another season of Y basketball.

Our league is designed to help teach the fundamentals and skills, as well as the rules of the game and both teamwork and sportsmanship. It’s not all about what the scoreboard says at the end of the game, because here at the Eau Claire YMCA, everybody plays; everybody wins!

Participants sign up individually and are then placed on a team according to where they go to school. All games are officiated by both new and experienced WIAA certified officials. They too will do their part to help teach the players the rules of the games.

Chippewa Valley Basketball League – Youth Basketball League
(Ages/Grades: Grades 5 & 6)
The Chippewa Valley Basketball League (CVBL) is a partnership between the Eau Claire Y, Eau Claire Parks & Rec., and the Chippewa Valley Y. All Players registered through the Eau Claire Y and Parks & Rec. will be drafted on a team according to the guidelines established by League Coordinators. All Participants will play in all games. Volunteer coaches are needed for this program. If you are interested in coaching, please fill out the bottom portion of your child's registration form or contact the Y at 715-836-8460.

Brad Peterson 3 on 3 Tourney (Ages/Grades: Grades 2-8)
Continuing with the basketball tradition here at the YMCA, we will again be hosting the Brad Peterson Memorial 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. So, round up 3 or 4 of your friends, classmates, or relatives who are in town for the holidays and spend a night at the Y playing basketball.

Number of games will be determined by the number of teams per division, but most teams will get to play at least 3 games. All games are officiated by WIAA certified officials.

Old Timers League (Ages/Grades: Ages 28+)
This is a 4-on-4 recreational basketball league designed to give men age 30 and older a chance to still play some ball and get a little exercise. We have both an upper and lower division to give those teams with a little less competitive edge the chance to compete against teams at their playing level, and those teams that are bit more competitive also get the chance to compete with teams at their caliber of play. All games are officiated by certified WIAA officials. Games will be on the short courts with two 20 minutes halves, running clock.
