SilverSneakers® SilverSneakers® is an innovative national exercise program specifically designed for the unique health and physical needs of older adults. The SilverSneakers® program is taught by a certified instructor and focuses on improving strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. As an added bonus, you will enjoy the camaraderie of fellow participants in the program!
Muscular Strength and Range of Movement (SilverSneakers® I) Move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance; a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Cardio Circuit (SilverSneakers® II) Combine fun and fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, head to toes stretching and complete relaxation in a comfortable position.
SilverSneakers® Classes are available to YMCA & SilverSneakers® members only.


Joint Efforts Joint Efforts is a moderate water exercise program designed for adults with arthritis. Program takes place in the shallow end of the large pool. Sessions are ongoing. M-F 9:15am-10:00am
Firm Up, and Feel Good This class promotes flexibility, muscle toning, proper breathing and body alignment/appreciation. Class will use aqua-joggers and foam barbells. No swimming ability is required; however participants must be comfortable in deep water. Program takes place in the deep end of the large pool. M-F 9:00am-10:00 am
Joint Efforts & Firm Up, Feel Good are FREE to YMCA Members. $5 per class Non-Member Fee or $30 for a 20 class punch card may be purchased at the Service Desk for either class.
40 & Over Recreational Swim Join us for fun and fitness! Enjoy a slow paced swim to loosen joints, challenge muscles, develop strength firm up. M-F 8:30am-9:30 am FREE Available to YMCA Members Only!
