Pool Rules

Lifeguards and Aquatic Staff have authority in the pool

All swimmers must take a cleansing shower before entering the pool and after the use of toilet facilties.

In order for a youth to swim unaccompanied in the large multi-purpose pool, the youth must be able to pass a pre-designated youth swim test.  Please ask the lifeguard if you wish to take the swim test.

Youth age recommendations:
- Children 7 years of age and younger must be accompanied into the water by an adult (18+) and remain within arm's reach
- Children 8-10 years must be accompanied into the pool area by an adult (18+) and remain on the pool deck. (or sucessfully pass the pre-designated youth swim test to swim unattended in the large multi-purpose pool without an adult)
- Children 11 years of age and older may safely swim in the large mulit-purpose pool without an adult (18+) present.

Facility:
- Personal toys and general facility toys (balls and dive rings) may be used in the small multipurpose pool
- Facility equipment (kickboards, pull buoys, water dumbbells and water belts) may be used by adult swimmers in the large multi-purpose pool
- Personal floation devices are prohibited for recreational swimming (exception: they are permitted during authorized swim lessons and educational programs)
- Starting blocks are only for swim-team and swimming lessons

Diving Concerns:
- Patrons mush jump straight off the board moving in a forward direction.
- One person and one bounce on the board at a time
- Diving area must be clear before the next person jumps or dives off the board
- Quickly swim to the pool side after using the diving board
- Only front dives, front jumps, and front
