Group Fitness Classes
Fitness classes at the Y are a great way to torch calories and get a great workout in.
Classes are FREE to all members.
Non–Member fees: $5.00 Single Class Pass
Members should scan their membership card and non-members should present their single class/unlimited session pass to the instructor in the Fitness Training Center prior to the start of classes attending.

Get ready and join our AquaFit class! AquaFit meets in the YMCA pool and incorporates cardiovascular and muscular endurance in a high-paced, spirited class setting. This class is ideal for athletes looking to cross-train or try another high-paced workout.
Butts & Guts
This 30-minute class focuses on strengthening the muscles of your core and glutes. These muscles are fundamental in carrying out activities of daily living and stabilizing your spine.
Calm Warrior Yoga
A balanced practice to free up the body and steady the mind. Explore your edges with a peaceful and playful heart. Expect to leave feeling strong, calm, and ready for the weekend.
Add a little dance to your workout! We’ll build strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness while learning a few basic ballet and jazz dance moves. A nice complement to more traditional fitness classes.
This class is a blend of aerobic exercise designed by the instructor for the class. Some of the likely elements of this cardio class will be: Step Aerobics, BOSU Ball, Hi/Lo Aerobics, and Kickboxing.
Cardio Muscle Mix
Come to this high-energy class and get the complete workout! A combination of cardio-based workouts, topped off with a muscle-toning segment using a mix of equipment.
Chair Yoga is a type of mild yoga that involves sitting in a chair and also using it to support upright and standing poses. This is a popular class for those who have arthritis, injuries, or other limitations, and is frequently practiced by senior citizens. A great way to start your day!
EnhanceFitness is a proven community-based senior fitness and arthritis management program. Format includes cardio endurance, strength, flexibility, and balance which can reduce arthritis symptoms. Free to members, but registration is required. Physical pre/post assessments included to track your progress!
Fusion - Pilates & Yoga
A combination of Pilates, Yoga and deep breathing techniques. A workout focusing on strength, flexibility and core conditioning. All levels are encouraged to attend and experience the connection between long, lean muscles and stress release exercises.
A water exercise class designed for all levels of physical fitness. The water environment puts less stress on your body’s joints while adding resistance to help improve your muscle tone. No swimming ability is required; however, participants must be comfortable in deep water.
This class is a cardiovascular workout performed to music on a stationary bike. It is simple, fun and easy to learn. This class is for everyone; all ages and fitness levels. You must sign in bi-weekly at the Entrance A Desk to reserve your bike. 40 minute class, unless noted. NEW PARTICIPANTS, please arrive 10 minutes early to meet with the instructor.
Promotes low-impact workout for adults with arthritis. This class will meet in the shallow portion of the pool.
An athletic-based workout using various weights and fitness "toys" working every major muscle group designed for all ages and fitness levels. This class will deliver quick results to tone and strengthen your body. A great way to get in shape!
Low Impact Mix
A softer form of your favorite exercise that is a less jarring method of burning fat and enhancing the cardiovascular system. We will mix in both strength and cardio to make this a balanced workout.
PiYo is a class that combines yoga poses with pilates mat exercises to build core strength and enhance agility and balance. PiYo is a faster-paced class than Yoga I and provides a moderately challenging workout, similar to Vinyasa (flow-style) yoga.
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weight, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. One hour class in the Party Room.
This high energy step class is designed to challenge every major muscle group in the upper and lower body while improving cardiovascular fitness using a 12” step. High intensity effect on the cardiovascular system, yet low impact on the skeletal system. Class includes core work to make this a complete workout.
Strength, Balance & Flexibility (SBF)
Build strength in all of the major muscle groups and core! Weights, dynabands & stability balls will be used in this newly offered class which places an equal emphasis on exercises to improve balance & flexibility. Appropriate for beginners and the experienced. No jumping included.
Yoga/Yoga for All Levels
Yoga for all levels. Renew your spirit and relax your mind while stretching and strengthening your body. Take the time to shed the distractions and enjoy a reconnection with your body senses. Concentration will be on exploring the essentials of breathing, posture and lengthening while learning basic yoga poses.
Combines high energy and motivating Latin and International music with unique moves that are fun and easy to do. Ditch the workout, join the party!
Perfect for those who want to party! This class puts an extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define muscles.
