Are you looking to engage and inspire your community? Please consider volunteering for the Y! The Eau Claire YMCA is deeply committed to providing opportunities for people to live healthy, confident, connected, and secure lives. We strive to create mutually beneficial volunteer opportunities for our members and the community through connecting your passions and talents with the needs of programs and events. In many cases, the success of our events and programs can be measured by the quality and selflessness of our volunteers, which we at the Y have been fortunate enough to have an abundance of over the past several years.
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the year, ranging from one-day events to opportunities that require a more lengthy time requirement. Please take the time to review the volunteer opportunities below to see what might interest you the most! Have a strong interest in a particular program area that isn’t listed below? Let us know! From time to time, we can reach out to create additional opportunities where there is community need and volunteer interest.

Togetherhood Team: Ongoing
Togetherhood is a national signature program of the YMCA in the program area of Social Responsibility. This program provides members with the unique opportunity to reach out and give back positively to their community through service projects. A member-led committee chooses and designs four service projects to be completed each year. We are seeking volunteers to be a part of this team or sign up to receive alerts in order to help with individual planned events. Past Togetherhood projects have included an Irvine Park “Polar Express” bus trip for residents of Beacon House, a sports equipment drive, assisting other Eau Claire non-profits with major projects, and organizing a “ThankFest” event for families.
